How to Clear Cache and Cookies on Mac or PC in Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge

If a website is not loading properly, looks outdated, or you are having trouble signing in, clearing your browser’s cache and cookies can often fix the problem.

Clearing cache and cookies may:

  • Sign you out of websites
  • Remove saved site preferences
  • Require websites to reload content the next time you visit

If possible, make sure you know your usernames and passwords before continuing.
